160 miles

160 miles in two days with record breaking heat.

Heat: 1

Michael: 0

Not thinking or being smart about my travels, so it's time to pull the plug. It's been fun and I'll definitely do it again (sans heat.) The weather just won this round.

Day one

Rode in the dark way, way, way too long. I'm fine and safe in my tent in Springfield, CO. That's about 110 miles today.  So crazy. I'm going to take it really easy tomorrow.

Today, I rode the 63 miles into Boise city and was beat. The heat was just awful. Slacked around boise city for about five hours, then made the 45+ mile trip to Springfield. I know it doesn't add up, just trust me. :) don't trust me to find a campsite before dark though. I suck at that big time. :/

Here's hoping tomorrow isn't so crazy.
